From signs to prototypes, learn more about the creative possibilities in the Makerspace. Forward your logo to the library in advance, and we’ll even have a customized sample ready for you when you arrive! (hhtriv@aurorapubliclibrary.org)
Attendees will receive a certificate that can be redeemed for a one-hour training session in the library’s computer lab. You can bring your own trainer, or the library will supply a trainer to teach your staff how to use the library’s online resources or Makerspace/Media Lab software and tools. The training is to be scheduled with Mr. Trivedi and used by May 31, 2018. The value of this offer is $350.
Makerspaces are growing to be an important part of a thriving community’s development, offering people the chance to try out new technology and special tools in a collaborative environment. The makerspace at Santori Public Library has several 3-D printers, a laser cutter, large-format printer, vinyl cutter, and other tools available for use. The knowledgeable Digital Services staff, headed by Mr. Trivedi, is available to offer knowledge and support as needed.
