CNC Operator Training

Event Description This course is an introduction to computer numerical control (CNC) machine operation. Students will receive classroom and hands-on training in the machine shop and metrology lab. Skills covered include basic blueprint reading, CNC programming, machine set-up, operation, tooling, and trouble shooting. Successful completion of this course will prepare you for an entry CNC operator position. In addition, you will have the opportunity to earn a National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Machining Level I credential.
