Golf for Children's Mental Health

Event Description Golf for Children's Mental Health! Taking Control Counseling Services is hosting a golf outing to raise funds for their non-profit partner, Communities in Schools of Aurora. They provide mental health counseling and support services for the youth of Aurora School Districts 129 and 131. Many youth go through lifewithout help, mentally, emotionally and in school. CIS of Aurora gives students the chance to talk to someone, free of charge. These counselors help kids through their difficult lives and situations, in and out of school. These counselors are also mentors, that help children reach graduation, develop coping skills and help put their life on a positive path. This event will help continue to provide much needed mental health services to the students of Aurora, IL. August 18th, 2018, Orchard Valley Golf Course, 11 am registration, 1 pm shotgun start, dinner at 6pm. $125 - Single golfer $500 - Foursome $200 - Hole Sponsor $50 - Dinner only (Chicken/Steak) Golfing includes: Hot Dog Lunch, Golfing 18 holes, cart, bucket of free range balls, Chicken/Steak Dinner, games with prizes, and a free Drink Ticket. LOTS of GREAT Raffle prizes, silent auction items, 50/50 raffles, games at the holes, and prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, best score, and MORE! Please join the fun and help support a wonderful non-profit organization.
