Join us for a virtual take on Professional Sales Development Session, a long-time Chamber favorite. For this next session, Shawn Green, PhD, from Aurora University will facilitate the session and will be joined by our guest speaker, Mike Hensley, Vice President of Sales with NetScout Systems. Together they will address building client relationships with customers and being as valuable and supportive as possible to clients’ needs and concerns during this current business and sales environment.
In this sales workshop, you will learn how to:
- Serve as a support resource for your clients and customers during this COVID-19 crisis
- Take a consultative approach to customers and clients and ultimately focus on long-term retention
- Develop value when our clients may not be able to make purchase commitments at this time
- Exploring opportunities to have deeper conversations with our customers without being in a traditional “sales-mode”.
- Determining the role of building our own sales value brand over social media
- Discussing how to have more productive conversations in remote formats

About Mike Hensley
Mike Hensley is Vice President of Sales with NetScout Systems. As an integral member of NetScout’s executive management team for over eighteen years, Mike has seen the company’s revenue grow from $75 Million to over $1.2 Billion in sales revenue. He leads a North American team (comprised of four areas, seven U.S. regional sales teams, and the Canadian and U.S. Federal Sales teams) accounts for approximately 60% of NetScout’s annual sales revenue and provides global support for U.S. and Canadian government accounts, Fortune 1000, Global 2000 and Forbes’ 400 top private companies.
Mike holds a B.A. from DePaul University with a concentration in Sales Management and earned his M.B.A. from Aurora University with a concentration in Strategic Sales and Sales Management. He was awarded the Dean's Prize for MBA Scholarship. Since 2006, Mike has served as an Adjunct Professor at Aurora University, and has authored three MBA-level courses (including his current course, “Leading Teams”.
