Leadership Academy: Healthcare

Attending the Aurora Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy has allowed me as a leader from a small company (5x employees) a great opportunity to meet with other leaders in our local community. To hear about their challenges, their solutions and to share ideas with them. When attending the meetings every Friday I always leave very inspired and energized. We have been blessed to hear management theory from Dr Bill and great practical testimonies from local businesses. The account from John Diederich from Rush Copley. To hear about how he worked his way up from the kitchen to CEO over 37 years was very impressive. To learn about how Rush Copley has implemented mentors within its organization, and how the hospital works towards always having a pool of employees ready to take over any given position were very educational. I am very pleased to have signed up for the Leadership Academy, and I would highly recommend any current or aspiring leader to become part of Dr Bill's classroom.

About the Author

Interthor is a direct subsidary of Logitrans a/s Denmark. We manufacture ergonomic lifting equipment at our Danish factory. We stock and sell the equipment in the US through a network of material handling dealers. Besides managing the US office - I am also part of daily selling. I have a Master in Marketing from the UK and 20x years of sales experience in Europe and the States. I have been in the US since 2005 and have been a dual Danish/US citizen since 2018. I joined Interthor in June 2014.
