These sessions will feature a range of local speakers\, offering insights and expertise on various business-related topics.\n\n\n\nAttendees will enjoy complimentary lunch and refreshments during these informative sessions\, designed to foster learning and networking opportunities within the business community.\n\n\n\nIn September\, join us as we learn all about Aurora Downtown from Events & Marketing Manager Arella Swan.\n\n\n\nOur Featured Speaker: Arella Swan\n\nArella Swan is an experienced communications professional based in Aurora\, IL\, with a diverse background in event management\, marketing\, and social media strategy. Born and raised in Chicago\, Arella earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wartburg College in Waverly\, IA. Currently\, Arella serves as the Events & Marketing Manager for Aurora Downtown\, a local non-profit organization. Since 2021\, she has been instrumental in planning and executing monthly events that attract thousands of guests each year. In this role\, Arella increased the Aurora community's awareness of downtown events and businesses. Along with planning\, Arella coordinates and executes giveaways\, assists with creating promotional materials and booking vendors. On event days\, Arella oversees setup\, strike down\, and acts as the main point of contact for both vendors and attendees. Additionally\, she manages the organization's Instagram and Facebook accounts\, successfully implementing social media influencer partnerships that have significantly boosted engagement and follower interaction.
