Sherman also will share excerpts from his upcoming book\, which explores the vital role African Americans played in shaping Aurora\, Illinois\, during its early years.\n\n\n\nOur Featured Speaker: Sherman Jenkins\n\nSherman Jenkins\, President of SLJ Communications\, is experienced in the field of online media\, economic development\, public relations\, and corporate relations for municipal\, corporate\, and non-profit organizations. In each endeavor\, as a leader\, innovator\, motivator\, and mediator\, Sherman's skills have helped companies and municipalities connect with minority communities through online media publications.
