Description
Since its inception in 1993, the FVSRA Pork Chop and Chicken Barbeque and Basket Raffle has become a community staple, outgrowing its original home in the North Aurora Activity Center. Now held at the Prisco Community Center, more than 1,000 people attend the event annually, helping to raise vital monies for FVSRA programs and initiatives.
In operation for 35 years, FVSRA serves as an extension of the Fox Valley, Geneva, St. Charles, Batavia, Sugar Grove and Oswegoland Park Districts, and the Village of South Elgin Parks and Recreation Department. FVSRA provides a diverse range of year round recreational opportunities to enable residents with disabilities to experience active, healthy and playful lifestyles.
