IN THE KNOW LUNCH & LEARN
The Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer In the Know Lunch & Learns in 2024, a series of monthly business seminars held on the second Tuesday of each month. These sessions will feature a range of local speakers, offering insights and expertise on various business-related topics.
Attendees will enjoy complimentary lunch and refreshments during these informative sessions, designed to foster learning and networking opportunities within the business community.
In November, join us as we explore "Mentorship Matters" with Carolyn Chiovino of Express Employment Professionals.
Why Mentorship? To thrive in the fast-paced world of business, staying ahead means embracing the power of knowledge sharing. As the workforce ages and skill gaps widen, mentorship becomes a vital way to keep your company on the cutting edge of innovation.
Mentorship is a key component of a flourishing workplace culture. It's the practice of transferring wisdom and skills that develop the leaders of the future. Mentorship programs are designed to enhance communication, cooperation, and problem-solving skills, creating an environment full of learning and ongoing feedback.
This Lunch & Learn will help you customize your mentoring program. Discover the difference between mentorships, apprenticeships, and peer coaching. Participants will be provided a free Mentorship eBook! In The Value of Mentorship eBook, you will find 12 chapters that uncover the incredible influence of mentorship at work, tips on how to succeed as a mentor or mentee, and actionable steps to grow in your career.
