Alderman Stephanie Kifowit is hosting the Third Annual Women’s Power Luncheon on October
7, 2011 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Gaslite Manor, with registration beginning at 11:00 am. 
The speaker for the event is Ms. Diana Martinez.  Ms. Martinez is the President of Chicago’s
legendary The Second City International and will be speaking about Improvising your way to the
Top.  This year, all the proceeds will go the Mutual Ground Inc.
 
Diana Martinez will share her experiences in personal empowerment through her journey as the
daughter of a first generation immigrant to President/COO at one of the most reputable
institutions in the entertainment industry. She hopes to inspire you to be the person you’ve
always wanted to be, and will share some tips on how the methods of improvisation can affect
positive changes in your personal and professional career.
 
Diana is the President of Chicago’s legendary The Second City International. The Second City
International is the leading brand in improv-based sketch comedy. With theatres in Chicago and
Toronto, Training Centers in those cites as well as Hollywood, 11 full time touring ensembles,
