The wait is over! Join us on May 31 at the Aurora Regional Fire Museum for the launch of our newly updated American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training program. Whether you're a teen looking to start babysitting or a parent wanting peace of mind, this class will give young caregivers the skills they need to be responsible, prepared, and confident while taking care of children. Meet Bobby – Your Instructor!
Meet Bobby Dobroski, the guy who’s going to make learning CPR and babysitting skills actually fun! He’s not just an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Trainer, he’s also a former Early Childcare Director who knows firsthand what it takes to keep kids safe and happy. When he’s not teaching life-saving skills, he’s busy wrangling his own two little boys—so trust us, he gets it! With Bobby’s energy and real-world experience, you’ll walk away from this class feeling totally ready to take on babysitting like a pro., an experienced American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Trainer and former Early Childcare Director. Bobby has dedicated his career to teaching life-saving skills and childcare education. When he's not leading first aid and CPR classes, he's taking care of his two young boys. His hands-on experience and passion for child safety make him the perfect instructor to guide young babysitters in becoming responsible and prepared caregivers.
About the Class
DobroSKILLS CPR is offering the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training program, designed for youth ages 11-16 who are planning to babysit. This training provides the knowledge and skills necessary to care safely and responsibly for children and infants. Participants will develop leadership skills, learn how to build a babysitting business, ensure safety for themselves and others, and gain essential childcare and first aid skills.
This course also includes a two-year certification in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, equipping students with the ability to respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies.
