Backthird Audio Business After Hours ...
Description
Come and meet the Back Third Audio team and tour their studio facilities at their upcoming Business After Hours on April 21.
Making "Made in Aurora" - in the studio with the producers of Aurora's first vinyl record album.
Slated for release on April 16, "Made in Aurora" is a collaboration featuring 8 area bands and songwriters. This open house at Backthird Audio, where the album was recorded over three days in late February, offers a chance to tour the studio and learn how modern recordings get made. Producer Benjie Hughes and recording engineer Kyle Schmidt will discuss the process and play samples to demonstrate how a song evolves from first take to finished album track. We'll also play the record in its entirety at a networking reception with wine and hors d'oeuvres.
Reception begins at 4:30 pm, with presentation from 5:30 to 6:00 pm. A second open house will begin at 7:30 pm, with presentation at 8:00 pm, for those music-lovers who don't come out until dusk.
