Description

The Chairman of the Presidents Cancer Panel will be in Aurora.  Please join us at the Copley Theater to hear LaSalle D. Leffall, M.D., F.A.C.S., discuss Cancer Prevention and Screening.  He is the Charles R. Drew Professor of Surgery at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, and past Chair of the Board, Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  He is a surgeon, oncologist, medical educator, and leader in professional and civic organizations.  His significant achievements are chronicled in his autobiography, No Boundaries:  A Cancer Surgeon's Odyssey. Dr. Lefall's community briefing is sponsored by the Avon Foundation and Rush-Copley.
