We invite you to attend the City of Aurora's official ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the historic Hobbs Building renovation!
The Hobbs Building, built in 1892 at the corner of Galena Blvd. & River St., is well known in the community for its Romanesque Revival-style architecture that once featured an iconic copper onion dome. The City is excited to announce that the unique feature will once again be visible in the Downtown Aurora skyline after this Friday!
Join us at 11:00 to witness the hoisting of a new onion dome that will kick off the afternoon's celebrations! Plans for first-floor commercial activity will also be shared, along with an update on the already 70% leased apartments on the upper floors!
