Description
Jim Weren from Naperville will present a program at Sunnymere, 925 Sixth Ave. Aurora, on "Women of the Civil War" at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd.
Mr. Weren is a talented speaker and also a noted artist who has many drawings of Civil War life. Few know how much of a role women played during the Civil War. Most feel they stayed home and tended the children, but that is not the case.
This program is sponsored by The Tillers of Oswego, and Sam Clementz.
