Description
What kind of work are you looking for? Where do you want to work . . . what kinds of organizations? What is it in your background that qualifies you for this type of work? You must clearly understand and communicate this information in order to have a truly effective job search – one that results in a job that is the type of work you want to do, in an organization you want to work for, and in the shortest amount of time. Before you can effectively network, write a resume, create a LinkedIn profile and interview, you need to be clear on what it is you want to do, where you want to do it, and why someone should hire you. The first place you must be writing all this down is in your job search project plan. Without a plan you are just wandering around hoping that you run into a good job, or that one runs into you. A project plan will allow you to be engaged in a highly focused, proactive job search. This workshop will provide you with the outline and steps you need to take to quickly develop such a plan. Presenter: Keith Owens.
