Join Meijer for the Dr. Seuss Celebration

 

We all remember Dr. Seuss for his brilliancy, playfulness, and respect for children in his world of children’s literature. His works have lived on through many generations of youngsters and parents, and what better way to celebrate in advance the 106th birthday of Dr. Seuss than with Meijer as they join forces with Random House to present the Dr. Seuss Celebration on Saturday, February 20, 2010, located at all Meijer locations from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

There will be fun giveaways including Dr. Seuss magnets, stickers, HP photo cards and the official Dr. Seuss reading passport. Guests can even enter for a chance to win really great prizes through an in-store contest on one day only - Saturday, February 20, 2010. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip for 4 to a Florida theme park, with one entry to be awarded chain wide. The First Prize Winner will receive a library of six Dr. Seuss books, with one recipient selected at each Meijer store. The Second Prize Winner will receive an HP Dr. Seuss framed poster, with one recipient selected at each Meijer store. Registration ends Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Meijer is also offering 50% off publisher’s list price all Dr. Seuss books beginning Sunday, February 14 and continuing until Saturday, February 20, 2010.
