Edward Cancer Center hosts annual Women’s ReTREAT
 
 
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Edward Cancer Center is holding its annual “Women’s ReTREAT” on Saturday, October 8, 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Edward Cancer Center on the campus of Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St. in Naperville.
 
The ReTREAT will feature “Breast Kept Secrets,” a private, personalized consultation and bra fitting for women who’ve had breast surgery.  To schedule an appointment, please call (630) 527-6363.
 
The American Cancer Society’s “Look Good…Feel Better” program will offer beauty techniques to female cancer patients in active treatment.  Please call (630) 527-6363 to make a reservation for the demonstrations which are scheduled for 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
 
Ten-minute seated massages, individual Reiki sessions, yoga, tai chi, healing sound meditation, paraffin hand treatments, pink hair extensions, and nutritional information and demonstrations will be available between 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
 
The ReTREAT will also offer a variety of other presentations, as well as light refreshments throughout the day.
