Description
This year?s Event theme is ?Sail the South Pacific to Healthy Aging ?, featuring Everybody?s Birthday Party?. The event will be held at the Villa Olivia Country Club (Rte. 20 & Naperville Rd. in Bartlett). The celebration kicks-off at 6:00p.m. with the opening of the Silent Auction and Cash Bar. The program continues with dinner, Birthday presents for all, games (include musical chairs, limbo, etc), raffles and door prizes! Thus, the sub title ?Everybody?s Birthday Party?. Event tickets are $75 each or $700 for a table of 10.
The Event also includes ?Everybody?s Birthday Party? and the infamous "Race for the Cakes" and "BIG Raffle" for 1-week, all-inclusive trip for (2) to Cancun Palace Resorts in Mexico or $2500 cash prize (winner?s choice). Raffle tickets are $50 each.
In addition to the Silent Auction, the evening promises to bring other fun activities, all of which include YOU! There will be various raffle drawings (in addition to the Grand Prize Raffle Drawing), and many surprise fun events. Entertainment will be provided by the national favorite, ?Johnny Gray?. Johnny has performed throughout the U.S. over the last 20 years, appearing at many popular venues in Branson and Vegas with his ?one-of-a-kind musical variety show?. And for the 12th season in a row, Jeff Myers, well known local cable T.V. and radio host, will be your Master of Ceremonies for the evening. The combination of Johnny Gray and Jeff Myers will be an event in itself and not to be missed! Direct from the Caribbean, our version of Pirate Captain Jack Sparrow will also be on board!
This event is not just for seniors?it?s for EVERYBODY (over age 21)!!! The proceeds of this event will help us in serving the more than 26,000 seniors in our area, many of which are the frail and elderly. Over one-third of our funds are raised locally and these gifts are tax deductible. Please join us in ?Sailing to Healthy Aging 2011?.
