Job / Internship Fair
Planned for Waubonsee Community College
The Job /Internship Fair is an annual Waubonsee Community College event especially targeted to meet area employers' recruitment needs. It will be held on Thursday, April 8, at the college's Sugar Grove Campus from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the spacious Event Room of the Academic and Professional Center.
The Job / Internship Fair is an opportunity for you to gain instant visibility as a local employer and present your current job openings to upcoming graduates, current students and WCC alumni as well as community members.
Recruiting on a college campus also affords you the chance to meet with students currently studying in occupational or degree programs that just might match your recruiting needs.
Students as well as community members have been encouraged to bring resumes to leave with interested employers and to be prepared to interview.
Advertisements are placed in local newspapers. Also, press releases and public service announcements are circulated by the WCC Marketing & Communications Department and the Career Services Office and its partners to promote this event to the community.

The registration fee for this event is $75. Tables will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. A table and two chairs will be furnished and up to two box lunches will be provided. A continental breakfast will be available for employers on arrival.
Registration is limited and employers are encouraged to register as soon as possible. The deadline for registration is March 15th to be included in the employer directory. Contact Career Services to find out about availability after this date.
