A review of “top hit” selections form past Music by the Lake productions with original stars and full orchestra coupled with great tunes for future presentations

After 12 exciting years of nurturing young artists in productions at Music by the Lake, Conductor Christine Flasch and Stage Director Carin Silkaitis will present distinguished alumni in the “top hits” from popular operas, operettas and musicals presented since 2002. Music by the Lake will showcase many of the singers in their former roles, and in blockbusters being considered for future seasons. This original review will be presented as a fast-paced, staged musical “extravaganza” with full orchestra. The selections, chosen to entertain and thrill audiences, will cause The Ferro Pavilion to resound with the fresh voices, attractive portrayals, and winning performances from our roster of stars. Soprano Seong Shin Ra will return to recreate a spectacular scene from "Madama Butterfly." She will be joined by the full cast from their memorable 2009 performance. The Music by the Lake Festival Orchestra and Chorus will round out the ensemble in a celebratory night to remember. Where are they now? Coming home—to Music by the Lake—for a very special performance.
