GETTING THE INTERVIEW AND NAILING IT (January 10th 12:30-2:30) Presenter: Keith Owens. Principle Communications. The interview gets you the job, but how do you get the interview? For that matter, how do you get the phone screen that gets you the face-to-face interview, how do you get your resume to the top of the pile so you get the phone screen, and how do you write an effective resume and cover letter that helps your resume move up? It all comes down to persuasive communication. Focus will be on the importance of addressing the audience's needs in the interview “selling” process by crafting and delivering messages that make it clear the value you bring to the company.
