Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity is developing a 17-smart affordable home subdivision on Jericho Rd and Lindenwood in Aurora.  Nicor Gas and Southern Companies are partnering with the us to develop Smart Neighborhood™ affordable housing communities in Chicagoland.   We will be breaking ground for this project on June 27 and the community is invited to join us under the big tent.  Some of the featured speakers are Congressman Bill Foster, Nicor President-Wendall Davis, Senator Linda Holmes, Advocate Construction President-Nick Wallace, Accurate Door President-Lisa Farley, Certain Teed Regional Manager- Andrew Scott, Founding Father of Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity-Pastor Duane Mevis and many more.  Come and meet the families that have been chosen to move into these new homes.  Join us for breakfast and networking before the program begins.  Invite others to join us and find out more on how they can help build this community.  We will have raffle baskets and silent auction items available to bid on.  We will also be selling Habitat t-shirt to raise money for the project as well.  Come and support local affordable housing in Aurora.
