Description
The History Speaks Lecture Series begins its 11th season with “Thunder in the Distance: A Midwesterner’s Perspective on the Civil War,” that will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14 at Naper Settlement’s Century Memorial Chapel, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville. Lee Murdock’s program takes a look at the role of the Civil War from a Midwesterner’s perspective in the 1960s era. A few traditional songs, along with the new originals, will be used to tell the story. Reservations are recommended.
