This event is our way of doing something real about it.

Join us for a high-energy, family-friendly pickleball experience designed to bring people together—seniors, families, neighbors, businesses, and community leaders—in one welcoming space where connection comes naturally.

#What’s included with your ticket:

• Live Music: **The Harry Garner Band featuring blues guitarist JR Wydra—Chicago Blues circuit Legends bringing the vibe

• Food + Drinks (non-alcoholic) included with your ticket on-site—we're reaching out to local breweries to set up tastings for us (not confirmed yet)

• Pickleball 101 Instruction: beginner-friendly coaching from Jonny Storm and his coaching staff.

• Open play for all ages and all skill levels—from “never picked up a paddle” to “I play every week.”

• No pickleball paddle? No problem. We’ll have paddles available.

Pickleball is one of the most social sports in the country—it’s welcoming, easy to learn, and built for conversation. Whether you come to play, cheer, meet people, or support the mission, you’ll leave with more connection than you arrived with.

#Why we’re doing this:

Our goal is to make coming out to play pickleball more accessible to the people most vulnerable to isolation, and to build momentum for regular senior-friendly play sessions at a reduced rate—including an introductory visit with professional instruction.

After essential event costs are covered, proceeds will support two local impact efforts:

• The Walk to End Alzheimer's - Fox Valley (Alzheimer’s Association)

• The Kane Senior Council Meals on Wheels program, helping provide meals and connection to homebound older adults

This event was designed locally, built with local partners, and created to strengthen the community we all share.

• Pickleball play in a welcoming, all-skill-level environment

Timeline of Event:

5 pm-6 pm - Registration Check-In and Reception

5:30 pm - Food and Beverage Ready to Serve

6 pm-7 pm - Pickleball Intro - PB 101 (40-45 mins) - Multiple Instructors on Courts

• General Play also will begin for those who aren’t seeking additional instruction - Intermediate and Advanced Players

6:40 pm - Host and Sponsors to take stage to introduce themselves

7 pm-9 pm - Band plays - JR Wydra / Harry Garner Band - Legendary Chicago Blues Circuit Artists

• PB 101 class to mix in with beginner courts and court play continues

9 pm-10 pm - Play Continues, Event Ends
