Description
The Kane County Division of Transportation (KDOT) is hosting a public meeting to initiate the Preliminary Engineering and Environmental (Phase 1) Study for Montgomery Road. A majority of the study corridor is located in the Village of Montgomery, with a portion in the city of Aurora. The corridor is approximately 3 miles long, from IL Route 25 on the west to Hill Avenue on the east. The study will take a comprehensive view of the corridor's transportation needs and include a public involvement process to identify alternatives, impacts, and issues.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public about the project and to seek input on the transportation issues within the study area. The meeting will be conducted as an open house, and attendees may visit anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. A continuous PowerPoint presentation will provide an overview of the study. Attendees will have an opportunity to review exhibits, provide comments and meet with KDOT and study team representatives.
