Rebuilding Together Aurora & KidsMatter are pleased to announce their collaborative efforts to raise funds for families and children in our communities. The two organizations will be partnering on a joint fundraiser at Meson Sabika in Naperville on Monday, May 23, 2011. On that date, the management of Meson Sabika has generously agreed to donate 20% of the day’s sales to these worthy organizations.

Rebuilding Together Aurora is an Aurora based 501(c)3 non-profit that provides home repair assistance to low-income families residing in owner-occupied homes. Their volunteer-based rehab model fosters a truly grassrotts community revitalization effort designed to preserve affordable homeownership.

KidsMatter is a Naperville based 501(c)3 non-profit who’s mission is to educate and encourage people in our community to build development assets in youth. Through a wealth of community programs, collaborations, and outreach efforts, KidsMatter empowers youth and families with tools to effectively manage the stressors of everyday life.

“It’s exciting to have the opportunity to partner with an organization that shares our belief in family focused growth from with-in,” stated KidsMatter Executive Director, IdaLynn Wenhold. “Anytime we can work with another grassroots organization to improve the quality of life for families and children, it’s an incredible opportunity.
