Description

Roots Aurora is a celebration of the many cultures that represent our great city. A truly multicultural festival of dancing, music, art and (most importantly) food, Roots Aurora gives you the unique opportunity to experience just a sampling of the rich heritage of our Aurora residents from around the globe. The festival is a fantastic chance to better appreciate the many cultures present right here in Aurora without having to pack a passport and phrasebook!

General admission: $3
Dress in cultural garb (Mumbai saris, Chihuahuan sombreros, Dutch clogs, etc.): ONLY $1

No pre-sale available. Buy tickets day-of at the gate.

PARKING

Parking for this event is $1.50 at the Aurora Transportation Center/Metra Lot. You will need to self-pay at the daily ticket machines located at center of the lot to pay for parking. PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING EXACT CHANGE. Pay machines do not accept debit/credit cards or dispense change. Once you receive your parking ticket from the pay machine, you will need to place it on your dashboard. You may be ticketed or towed if you fail to pay and/or display your parking ticket.
