SciTech Theater – Casting Call!
 
Calling all actors! The SciTech Museum of Aurora will be holding an open call on Saturday, July 23 from 9am-1:30pm at the Paramount’s Copley Center Theater. The Museum will be implementing a unique educational theater program beginning September 1, 2011. We are looking to hire a team of professional actors to act as the museum cast. Actors 18 years of age and older are welcome to submit. Responsibilities will include acting as the museum guides, assisting in classroom demonstrations, and performing in regularly scheduled theatrical shows throughout the day. The cast may also be involved in touring performances for schools and other organizations.
 
These are part-time positions, with hourly pay. Daytime hours, including weekends.
 
Saturday, July 23 9am-1:30pm OPEN CALL
August, 22 – 31 TRAINING / REHEARSALS
Theater program begins September 1, 2011.
Touring Troupe begins October, 2011.
 
Please prepare a contemporary comedic monologue along with a 16-32 bar cut of a fun, up-tempo song that shows personality! There will be an accompanist. Please bring a copy of your headshot and resume.
