The Legend of St. Nicholas comes to Naper Settlement
Start a new holiday tradition and hear the stories of St. Nicholas, the protector of children through the ages, heartwarmingly portrayed by veteran performer and historian Terry Lynch on Sunday, Dec. 11. This jolly presentation begins with a tour of the Martin Mitchell Mansion, bedecked in Victorian holiday splendor, hot cider, cookies and children’s activities between 2:30 to 3:50 p.m., followed by "The Legend of St. Nicholas" from 4 to 5 p.m., part of the History Speaks Lecture Series. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for youth 4-17 and $5 for sustaining members/season pass holders. Advance purchase recommended, limited tickets available at the door.
