Description
Join us for a special pre-election event that will explore the role of the media in our politics today. Chicago Tribune chief political reporter Rick Pearson moderates a distinguished panel, including Mary Ann Ahern of NBC Chicago, Amanda Vinicky of WTTW’s “Chicago Tonight” and retired executive director of the Paul Simon Institute and political editor of Des Moines Register David Yepsen, as they provide their insight into the role and responsibility of the media in political dialogue at the local, state and national levels. This is a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from individuals on the front line of political reporting in Illinois and beyond as a lead-up to the 2018 midterm elections.
