We need a Technical Product Manager capable of developing reliable and scalable solutions for our growing list of OEM partners, each with unique needs. You are diligent and driven, a Product Manager who has the ability to understand the partner’s strategic vision, and transforming their technical requirements into specific and actionable projects that leverage the company’s capabilities to deliver best-in-class solutions in a timely manner. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with internal engineering, quality, procurement and production teams, as well as creating close working relationships with our partners, so strong communication and collaborative skills are essential. You are resourceful, tenacious and see roadblocks as opportunities for creative thinking.   • This position is eligible to participate in Peerless-AV’s Hybrid Work Model.
  •  Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience), MBA preferred
Experience (Required): 
  •  Minimum 7 years’ experience in product management, project management, engineering, or related roles within manufacturing environment.
  •  Experience in renewable energy or Audio-Visual industry preferred.
Required Skills: 
  •  Ability to think strategically and creatively, and translate into actionable results.
  • Technically proficient, good understanding of technology, electromechanical systems and concepts.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact with and influence all levels within the organization, and with customers.
  • Good communications skills, capable of expressing ideas and concepts in writing, verbally, and through presentations.
  •  Organized, detail oriented, ability to prioritize, results driven.
  •  MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP software; project management and collaboration software experience a plus.
  • Work with customers and company staff to translate product needs into product development requirements (PDRs).
  • Manage customer requests and expectations.
  • Set priorities and schedules, evaluate risks, unblock impediments.
  • Product owner and subject matter expert for assigned products.
  • Represent voice of customer in decision making, reviewing and approving products.
  • Create quotes, manage cost, pricing, and profitability.
  • Work with all stakeholders to complete projects on time and on budget.
  • Create and maintain business systems such as ERP, PDM, CAR.
  • Manage lifecycle of products, revision control, obsolescence.
  • Communicate and present to different levels within company and with customers.
  • Generate reports on project status, metrics, and other business requirements.
  • Maintain working knowledge of tech trends that affect assigned product categories.
  • Travel up to 20% as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.
