Outstanding businesses were honored at the Inaugural Celebration of Business Excellence 
 
(AURORA, IL, August 1, 2022) – The Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce, the voice of and catalyst for business success in the Aurora region, announced the winners of the new Business Excellence Awards during the Celebration of Business Excellence on July 28 at Bureau Gravity in Aurora, IL.  
 
The gala-style event featured the awards ceremony where the Chamber honored 25 nominees who were vying for the Business Excellence Award winner titles. During the ceremony, Business Excellence Award winners were revealed in Nonprofit Excellence, Small Business Excellence, Mid-size Business Excellence, Large Business Excellence, and an individual Chamber Champion category.  
 
“There have been so many examples of business success, innovation and resilience across the Aurora region over the past couple of years, and the Chamber felt it was important, and necessary, to recognize and honor those achievements. The Business Excellence Awards did just that,” said Jessica Linder Gallo, President & CEO, Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce. “To really celebrate with our members, we rebranded our annual membership luncheon into a gala worthy of the great work being done across the region. The new Celebration of Business Excellence was an evening awards ceremony where member businesses came together and honored one another.” 
 
The winners of the Business Excellence Awards represent outstanding businesses and nonprofits that demonstrated strength, innovation, and leadership in the past year. Along with embodying the Chamber’s core values, the award winners also demonstrated meeting community needs and contributed toward the prosperity of the region. The Chamber Champion award was also presented to an outstanding individual who promoted growth in Chamber membership and fostered the development of business in the Aurora region through personal contributions. The Business Excellence Awards were judged by Chamber and Association Executives across the country including judges from CA, FL, MI, OH, PA, TX, WI, and more.

  • Nonprofit Excellence: Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry 
  • Small Business Excellence: Endiro Coffee 
  • Mid-Size Business Excellence: Earthmover Credit Union 
  • Large Business Excellence Award: Association for Individual Development 
  • Chamber Champion: Deepti (Dee) Srivastava, Healthcare Solutions Team 
 
Award winners will be featured on Good Morning Aurora from Monday, August 1, 2022, to Monday, August 8, 2022. Winners will also receive a spotlight from the Chamber in The Catalyst Chamber Newsletter and a feature on an episode of Something’s Brewing at the Chamber on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
