Quad County African American Chamber of Commerce (QCAACC), Women's Business Center (WBC), Aurora Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Invest Aurora Illinois and Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce want to help "Make The Connection" between your business and the Business Enterprise Program of Illinois.
The Business Enterprise Program (BEP) for businesses owned by minorities, women, and persons with disabilities is committed to fostering an inclusive and competitive business environment that will help business enterprises increase their capacity, grow revenue, and enhance credentials.
BEP assists businesses owned by minorities, women and people with disabilities gain access to the State of Illinois procurement process. BEP certification with the State of Illinois can also open the door to opportunities with other public and private entities which are looking for diverse suppliers.
There are millions in contracts available to minorities, under-served, and women to bid on. However, to bid requires that all businesses be certified through the Central Management Services certification. Plans have been made by QCAACC, and the WBC, to bring Erma Lopez, the program director for BEP, to conduct a seminar to explain the program, provide onsite registration, and walk participants through all aspects of this opportunity.
