AURORA REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE JOINTLY ANNOuNCES NEW ALL IN PLATFORM
 
Chambers of Commerce across Illinois Are Urging the Legislature to Provide Additional Economic and Regulatory Relief for Businesses
 
(AURORA, IL) – The Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce, the voice of and catalyst for business success in the Aurora region, is jointly announcing legislative priorities as part of the Chambers All In for Economic Recovery initiative for its second year in a row. Chambers All In for Economic Recovery, a collaboration of 50+ chambers across Illinois representing thousands of businesses and hundreds of thousands of employees, is calling for the legislature to provide much needed support and relief to the business community.
 
"After surveying nearly 500 businesses across the state and speaking to business people representing each Chamber, it is very clear that this season of uncertainty is far from over," said Jessica Linder Gallo, IOM, President & CEO of the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce and a member of the working group leading Chamber All In for Economic Recovery. "Businesses in Illinois need partnership from elected leaders to keep our state moving more than ever.”
 
Last spring, Chambers All In for Economic Recovery launched its inaugural platform. On January 24^th, the coalition released its updated platform for 2022. The coalition calls on the Illinois Legislature to prioritize economic and regulatory relief for Illinois' businesses. It is the mission of all chambers to support our respective business communities and help ensure that businesses can thrive for years to come. 
 
If enacted, the coalition-identified platform includes ways to help diminish the financial hardships businesses face amid a labor shortage, spur economic development and recover from the devastating impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
