The Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer In the Know Lunch & Learns in 2024, a series of monthly business seminars held on the second Tuesday of each month. These sessions will feature a range of local speakers, offering insights and expertise on various business-related topics.

Our Featured Speaker: Arella Swan
Arella Swan is an experienced communications professional based in Aurora, IL, with a diverse background in event management, marketing, and social media strategy. Born and raised in Chicago, Arella earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. Currently, Arella serves as the Events & Marketing Manager for Aurora Downtown, a local non-profit organization. Since 2021, she has been instrumental in planning and executing monthly events that attract thousands of guests each year. In this role, Arella increased the Aurora community’s awareness of downtown events and businesses. Along with planning, Arella coordinates and executes giveaways, assists with creating promotional materials and booking vendors. On event days, Arella oversees setup, strike down, and acts as the main point of contact for both vendors and attendees. Additionally, she manages the organization's Instagram and Facebook accounts, successfully implementing social media influencer partnerships that have significantly boosted engagement and follower interaction.
